Superior indoor air quality is the key to managing asthma, other respiratory infections like COVID & eradicating breeding ground for indoor organic contamination to enjoy fresh, decontaminated & filtered  air year-round.   We achieve these goals the following ways on a year-round and long-term basis:

Non-toxic and Zero-VOC construction:   Absolutely no  volatile organic compounds (VOCs) were used through in either the interior OR the exterior of the home, including and especially in adhesives, bonding agents, piping connections, or paint.    There are no foam pillows or padding in the furniture, and none of the wood is stained.

Secure Fresh Air Intake:  Our fresh air intake is in a secure, alarmed semi-conditioned space to prevent accidental, deliberate, or non-accidental contamination of the home.

24/7 Fresh Air Ventilation:   The home receives constant fresh air from a high-efficiency Zehnder energy recovery ventilator (ERV) unit equipped with MERV -13 level filtration before continuously & uniformly dispatching to all its living areas.   The ERV also continually removes stale air from kitchen, bathrooms, and cellar before exchanging thermal energy with incoming fresh air and is exhausted outdoors.

The kitchen exhaust system is equipped with Zehnder HRV armed with MERV 13 filtration for the make up air.

MERV-13 & HEPA Filtration:   Our fresh air is filtered with MERV-13 & HEPA level filtration (higher filtration than a surgical lab). Our indoor air is disinfected with UVC lights and kept at the highest cleanliness.

The indoor dehumidification systems have UVC light near evaporator coils to continuous disinfect.

The indoor oxygenated air is disinfected through UVC lights and amount of disinfection level is maintained based on occupancy.

Indoor Climate Control:   We constantly monitor Carbon Dioxide PPM, Relative Humidity, Dew Points and have put into place controls to keep RH low enough to prevent organic contamination year-round, lower cooling load in the summer, and recycle waterborne moisture for irrigation systems.
